#1 Papa Bear........

Good Evening!!
It is time for another set of TeddyBo images
to be released!!! Again, they are cuter than ever!
I decided to use Bo as I thought everyone was
going to go with the adorable princess Bea's!!
BUT a few of us had the same idea!! LOL
Anyways here is my card. This will be for my dad from
the girls. They call him Papa and wanted to make a
card for Father's Day. (Hence the big obnoxious tie! LOL)

I have followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday. It worked perfectly!
I have not done a masc. card in ages!! It was kinda fun playing with
all the bright colors. It was hard though to stay away from
the flowers and lace!! LOL

Isn't he just adorable!!! I love the look of his face :)

Papers ~ Kaisercrafts
Inks ~ distress inks, twinkling h20's
Accessories ~ twine and buttons ~ PTI

Here are the rest of the cute images being released now:

Sketch Saturday....

Good Morning!!

It is time for another fabulous sketch over at
Sketch Saturday!!
To get my final result I had to flip the sketch.
In my head I had a great idea but it didn't
pan out but I still kept it flipped!! LOL
Anyways here is what I came up with:

I decided to go vintagey with this one. I haven't done it
in awhile and thought this image would be pretty done
that way! I needed to make a thank you card for
Rach's student teacher as it was her last day. I
thought the image went well with the gift we made.
It was homemade caramel sauce and a bag
of apples ~ perfect for a teacher.

I just adore this Ladybug and Friends image!! I have
had this stamped for along time and just got around to
making a card with it!!

It is colored with distress inks and twinkling h20's.
The papers are K and Co. and I inked all the edges with
Vintage Dye. The flower is also LBF.
The pearls and lace are from WOC, and the sentiment
is from Hero Arts.

Well that is it from me!! Thanks so much for stopping by
and I hope you all have a wonderful week-end!!
I have 2 soccer games and then I hope to find
time to do something crafty!!

100% Sweet.....

Good Morning!
Time for another fabulous sketch over
at Sketch Saturday.  I was a little
stumped with the long image but
then found this one that I have
had forever and have never
inked up!!

I have had this template forever and as soon as
I seen the sketch I knew it was time to use it.
I have only decorated the inside with
pink papers as I knew I could use
this for a birthday for a younger girl or a
baby card so I left my options open for when
the time comes.

Papers ~ MME
Stamps ~ Image ~ Sarah Kay, 100% Sweet ~ CHF
Flowers and pearls ~ WOC
The image was colored with distress inks
and some twinkling h20's.

I want to tell you all about this blog posting I
found while commenting on the Sketch Sat.
cards.  It is this young girls blog anniversary
and she has such a sweet idea. Also her work
is beautiful and she is just 13!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!
I hope you have a lovely and
relaxing week-end!!

Sketch Saturday......

Good Morning!
This week Sketch Saturday had
a cool sketch to work with and it
was perfect for this cute little LOTV image
given to me in a RAK by a sweet blogger
friend!! Isn't he just adorable!! I just knew I
had to pair him up with this fab Pink Paisley paper.

Image is colored in with distress inks and
twinkling h20's. Of course I used the crackle
paint again and the rub-on is from Melissa
Frances.  The star is something I picked
up from a cool store we have here called
the Basket Warehouse. It sells a little
bit of everything. Love it!

Just want to mention before I go that
Vilda Stamps is now open for shopping!
They have a great variety of images ~
something for everyone for sure!

Oh and did anyone watch Grey's last night?
While watching I was thinking "Is this going
off the air?" How crazy was that!!
(Hope I didn't spoil anything Kim ~ but it isn't!! LOL)

Well I am off to Buffalo for the week-end to
see my twin brother ~ whom I haven't seen it
forever! Can't wait to see how his kids have grown!
(Well really I don't like seeing how they have grown!!
LOL But there is nothing I can do about it!)

I hope you all enjoy your week-end and have
some lovely weather! We are supposed to here!!
Take care,
:)Kathy

My first Vilda Stamps DT card......

Good Morning!!!
I am so excited to show you my very first DT card for Vilda Stamps.
I recieved my bundle of stamps yesterday and knew
which ones I wanted to use first!
Later this month is my and my hubby's anniversary ~
so I went with these cutesy giraffes. He is not mushy
so I thought this would be perfect and I just ADORE
giraffes! Don't know why but I always have!

The paper is from My Mind's Eye (Beloved) and PTI. (Kraft)
I have used a Martha Stewart Punch and my cuttlebug.
Again I have used my (beloved) crackle paint.
The sentiment is also a new stamp set to be released
on May 20th by Vilda Stamps. Lace is JoAnn Fabric.

I really love the way it turned out! These are two different stamps
and I just wanted to make a cute couple.  I know I didn't
use proper English with my i but the I wouldn't fit!! LOL
For the layout I have used the fabulous sketch from Sketch Saturday.
Don't forget to comment on the blog everyday until
the 20th as they are giving out free stamps!!

Lastly I want to let you know that Kelsey asked me to
thank everyone who said she looked pretty!!! (I had
to promise I wouldn't forget!!) She was
touched and was very thankful noone commented on her
hairy arms!!! LOL Crazy girl! haha
Really she had a smile from ear to ear so
thanks as well from me!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!!
(And does anyone know why I can't comment
on blogs?? I can only if I follow a link in an email
but not from my blog list! It is driving me mad!!!!)

Shabby Princess for Sketch Saturday.......

Good Afternoon!!
I had to hurry and get a card made for
Sketch Saturday! (Did you see that adorable stamp!!!)
Anyways I had a card all planned out but then my
mail came and I got some of the Princess images from
Magnolia-licious! (Lovely service!!)

Anyways I did another shabby chic card! I guess
once I got started with them I can't stop!
This is a birthday card for one of Kelsey's friends
so it qualifies for Cute Card Thursday's challenge
of celebrations. (I think!)

Don't mind the wet paint in the corner!! haha
I just made this one so fast and didn't want to wait
as I needed to get it posted!!!

Papers again are Webster's Pages, I used a ton of
distress paint from Tim Holtz, lace is from JoAnn's and
the flowers are from Prima.
I used some of the new distress inks to color in the image.
The dress is spun sugar and the frog is crushed olive. I
also went over it with some twinkling h2o's as well!

Well thanks so much for stopping by! I hope
you liked the card! I am surprised how much
I like it and it didn't take me days! LOL

We have another busy week-end and then Monday
hubby has a double hernia surgery! So depending
on how that goes I might not be around much!
I hopefully will get around to hopping tonight!
If not I hope you all have a fabulous week-end!

Your Tweet....

Afternoon! (This is my second post so if you want to see my La ~ La Land card you need to scroll down one!)

Anyways I have had this card made since Sunday and forgot to show it! It uses one of the new Whiff of Joy stamps (which are now available) ~ Charlotte kissing Pigeon. I followed the sketch from Sketch Saturday and it fits the challenge over at Simon says Stamp which is Shabby Chic. I have used alot of layers again! I just can't stop!! haha I got some new valentiney papers from K and CO. They are so pretty and couldn't wait to use them! They are perfect as they come with some valentines and the girls want to use them for school!! (Love that and nothing will go to waste!)
The sentiment is computer generated. I have added alot of glitter and pearls so sorry if your sick of my girly cards!! I think I am making all my nieces and nephews cards this year as I didn't (gulp) make any Christmas cards for them!!

Paper ~ K and Co.
Inks ~ distress inks and twinkling h20's
accessories ~ ribbon ~ Etsy, pearls ~ Mikes, heart ~ Catslife Press stamp, flowers ~ Tab

Well thanks so much for stopping by especially if it is your second time! I hope you all have a wonderful rest of your day or night depending on where you are!!!
See you tomorrow for the Sugar Bowl!!

Belles and Whistles does Sketch Saturday.....

Good Afternoon!! I hope everyone is staying warm!! WOW it is pretty frigid here!! I just wish we would get some snow to go along with it!! Back home is getting hit hard with the white stuff and I wish I could have went home with my parents yesterday!

Anyways I found some time to do the sketch over at Sketch Saturday! It was a nice and easy layout and thought it would work with my bigger image. This is Star of Bethlehem. I just adore this the whole Christmas collection of stamps at Belles and Whistles! I had a little of this paper from My Mind's Eye from last year and decided to use it up! I like darker cards but thought I would do a brighter one for my nieces! This picture reminded me of them!
Well only a few more cards to finish but this year I have more stamps that I have to use so I just may make them after Christmas!! haha I just shouldn't have started so late!

Make sure to stop by the Belles and Whistles Advent calendar and take a look at what Lilian did with this image!! It is gorgeous!!! Love her "fabric" she made for the dress ~ so stunning!! Also there is a chance at winning a grab bag with a value of $25 everyday!

Well I thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you all have a wonderful night!

Whohoo 3 challenges done.......

Good Morning!! I am so excited I got to play last night and I got three challenges done with my two cards!! I actually made 3 but can't show the other one :)

Anyways the first card is for A Spoonful of Sugar ~ and the theme is Fall into Autumn. (The sketch is from the WOJ challenge a couple weeks ago!! I also masked and stamped three images which was the challenge at Sukkersott a couple weeks ago as well!! LOL I am just happy I finally finished it!)

The punch is from Martha Stewart and the leaves are from the cuttlebug. I went over them with Fired Brick and Vintage Photo distress crackle paint. The little leaves on my image are leftover from the punch.
I also want to submit it for the GDT at Whiff of Joy! You have until the 19th I believe to enter your cards. The paper is from MME and it is actually Christmas paper but I thought it was nice for Autumn.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My next card is for the challenge over at Just Magnolia and they want to see embossing. I used a Halloween Cuttlebug folder, punched out some designs and then sanded them down. I also used the sketch provided by Sketch Saturday. Since the orange distress inks are too bright for this MME paper I decided to play around to get one closer in color. I mixed 1 drop of Walnut stain and 4 or 5 drops of Spiced Marmalade and I think it got pretty close. I love that I got to get some distressing in here ~ Halloween is perfect for the dark distressing I think! Sentiment is PTI and the flowers are the new Primas ~ Country Elegance.
Well thanks so much for stopping by and for sticking with me for my longer post! I know I had to post both cards now or the challenges would be over and I would miss them again! LOL
We have a very busy day today starting with a funeral and ending with Teacher's conferences!! Already ~ I cannot believe it!
I hope you all have a wonderful day and thanks so much for all your lovely comments!!
Color Create does Sketch Saturday....
As you know I am not a fan of color challenges. Only because I have a hard time with them. I usually pick out my paper or image and go from there. But when I seen the gorgeous color combo picked out by Kim over at Color Create I had to do it. Instantly I thought winter! (Silly huh in this beautiful warm weather LOL) But when I finally got these adorable stamps I knew what I wanted to do. Then I looked at the sketch for Sketch Saturday and my card was born! Nothing like last minute.... I just had to tilt the sketch on its side to achieve the look I needed. I had fun making this one and it came together really easy once I started! I love snowflakes so I am pleased with the way it came out!! I colored it in mostly with twinkling h2o's and added alot of glitter to my snowflakes.
Paper: Kaiser and Co., Kraft paper
Inks: distress inks, twinkling h2o's
Accessories: snowflakes ~ cuttlebug, Martha Stewart punch, circle stamp ~ Cats Life Press, button and twine ~ stash
Well thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you are all having a fabulous day!! If you are also having a nice extended week-end ~ ENJOY IT! The weather here is absolutely perfect! (Finally)
Sketch Saturday *51*
Well I got to squeeze in another card since hubby is working later than expected and we have such dreary weather!! (Plus I have all these adorable stamps!!!) There is a pretty sketch over at Sketch Saturday and I got it down in time instead of a day late! I needed to make a card for a 6 year old girl so went I with these papers again and kept it more bright as opposed to my previous vintagey one. The colors are just so pretty! I adore this image as well and I had fun coloring in her fruity dress with my twinkling h20's. I also outlined the image in them as well! It is very sparkly! The sentiment is also from the WOJ Summer kit.
Paper: My Mind's Eye 'Pretty Please'
Ink: Distress Inks, twinkling h20's
Accessories: Pearls ~ Melissa Frances, buttons and twine ~ stash
Well I am off to go dress shopping!! (UGH) But it seems I am not the only one that feels this way! I seen a pretty green one at the Calvin Klein outlet store but I have to take hubby along for a second opinion. The girls don't really help as they say I look beautiul in everything!! (They are sweet but it gets frustrating especially when I really look like a 5 lb sauage in a 2 lb bag!! LOL)
Anyways thanks so much for visiting and I hope everyone has a fabulous week-end!
Thanks for all you do times 2......
Today (and last night) I got two cards made. I used the same sentiment for both but they are very different looking.
The first card is for Sketch Saturday. They gave such a pretty sketch I had to try it out.These colors are so different than what I usually do but this spring I have been using brighter colors. I think in some way it may actually help to bring the spring weather our way!! (LOL) We get a few nice days here and there but I really think it is going to be cold one day and the next day it will be summer. We are going to skip Spring all together!! (LOL) Anyways I really love this image and tried to color her tights to match the paper!! You know I love the tights! The sentiment that I have used on both of these is from Catslife Press. They have some great stamps there!
Paper: Imaginisce ~ twitterpatted
Inks: Distress Inks, twinkling H2o's
Accessories: Ribbon ~ Micheals, Button ~ stash
------------------------
I have made this card for the WOJ challenge and Heather has provided another gorgeous sketch. I have also added some flowers for CCT challenge "floral fantasy" ~ just in the nick of time! It has been awhile since I have done a vintagey card so I just had to do one. Plus I picked up the new K & Co. paper pad called Life's Journey and the papers are so pretty! (I think they always are)
Paper: K & Co. ~ Life's Journey
Inks" Distress Inks and Twinkling H2O's
Accessories: Flowers ~ eBay, Retro flower punch, brads ~ Micheals, lace ~ JoAnn's, Pearls ~ Melissa Frances
Also got word on my twinkling h2o's. Apparently the ran out of some key ingredient and it will take 6 weeks for them to get out!!! If this doesn't teach me patience I don't know what will!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!!!
Easter Tilda.....
Yeah I got a couple Easter Magnolias in the mail!! I really just love this Tilda ~ she is so cute! (well most are LOL). I have completed 2 challenges with this card. The pretty sketch is from Sketch Saturday and the challenge over at Basic Grey is "all round". They don't want to see any angles.
I have also used the table and flower stamp from Alota. I am really loving there stamps ~ now that I am not afraid to mask! (LOL) Tonight I have colored in 3 images!! Crazy for me but I have found a great way to make it more enjoyable. I steal my daughter's ipod when she goes to bed and I dance (well bob my head) while I color. It doesn't even seem like work to me! haha. Anyways I think it turned out pretty good. I just think I might change the big flower to a slightly smaller one. What do you think??
Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
Paper: Basic Grey
Ink: distress ink, twinkling h20's
Accessories: pearls ~ Kaiser Crafts, flower ~ Prima, glitter on flower ~ MS, ribbon, twine and button ~ stash
Well I best get to sleep. I have a busy day tomorrow with Doctor's appts. and a run to the mall. Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you have a great Monday. Great to hear that you ladies in the U.K are getting nice weather! We are supposed to by Weds. I hope they are right this time!
Sketch Saturday *41*
This week Ria created a beautiful sketch!! I followed the sketch but alot of my embellishments are not in the exact spot!I got my Gorjuss girls in the mail on Saturday and had to give them a go. I made this card for Kelsey, my oldest, to put in her lunchpail.
I used to buy my lace from Melissa Frances and it was quite expensive and then I found this lace at JoAnn's for $1.49 a yard! I was so excited!
Paper: K & Co. (Cut and Paste)
Ink: distress ink, twinkling h2o's
Accessories: Prima ~ flowers, brads ~ Micheals, Ribbon ~ JoAnn's
The weather here is fabulous! It is almost 60 and sunny. They keep threatening us with rain but thankfully it is holding off. Wherever you are I hope you are having a beautiful day! Thanks so much for stopping by....
3 challenges done today ...Yippee
First off sorry for the long post!! But I can't believe it, I got another 3 challenges finished today as well! It helps that I did not have to do any running around as Kelsey is still home sick.
My first card is for the WOJ challenge of lavendar and lace. I am not sure that this is lavendar but it is a shade of purple so hope that counts!(LOL) I just don't have much purple paper. I just found this lace the other day so I guess I lucked out! This image is so cute ~ I think it might be my favorite of the spring kit! I had to use a ton of twinkling h2o's to tone down the purple distress inks to try to get it to match my paper.
Paper: Heidi Grace
Inks: distress inks, twinkling h2o's
Accessories: brads ~ Heidi Grace, lace ~ Wal-mart
````````````````````````````````````````

This next card is for 2 challenges. I got the lovely sketch from Sketch Saturday and the theme over at CCT is food and drink. I know it is a very little ice cream cone but food nonetheless! (LOL)
I finally cut this paper! I will be the first to admit I am not a fan of orange but I really like it with this color blue and this pack from MME is so pretty! It is from the Bloom and Grow range. I also saturated this card with Twinkling H2O's. If you did not see yet the company that makes the Twinkling H2O's is going out of business so you better buy them up!!

Paper: MME
Inks: distress inks, twinkling H2O's
Accessories: Dew Drops ~ SNSS, Flowers ~ Prima, Word Window punch from SU

I got to take these pictures outside today! It is sunny and 50 degrees but after the last few days it feels like 70! Just beautiful out!
Well thanks so much for stopping by and leaving your thoughtful comments! It is always lovely reading them!! Hope you all have a great night!

Also I have to throw this in here. It is a picture of my little ham. She loves sitting up in that window and feeling the heat come in from outside!

Some bunny loves you....

I have made this card for two challenges. The challenge over at Penny Black is Romance. I have never used this stamp and it looked like it would work to me.
I used this lovely sketch by Jeanette from Sketch Saturday. I think with this sketch it doesn't need many other details!! So I just added one flower! You can see that Rachel was getting happy with the gel pen so I had to go over it with my waterbrush. I turned for a second to get my camera to take the pic and here is her little hand coloring in the picture!! Good thing most of it came out!! (LOL)

Paper: K & Co.
Inks: Distressed inks
Accessories: Brads ~ MM, flower ~ Prima

I have been feeling crappy so hopefully I can catchup on most blogs today! Thanks so much for visiting and I hope everyone has a great night!!
