Cute Card Thursdays - Things with Wings

This gives me a chance to use "Olivia" again before she is released tomorrow!! She comes with all kinds of cute sayings!!
I loved this layout I seen (sorry I cannot remeber where) but I knew I wanted to use it for this card!! I think it looks cool with the branch!! I used K & Co. paper and paper ribbon, american crafts flowers and brad. Olivia is from SNSS and the branch and moon are from papertrey. I love the way some people have photo corners but I don't have a punch or anything so I just cut a triangle for each corner!!


After I made the first card I realized I could continue on with the birthday cards!! After making a 1st b-day card for the first challenge and a 2nd b-day card for the second challenge I decided to get my Nursery Bash stampset out and make the 3rd b-day card!! Only 1 more to go and I will have made a complete card set with that stampset!! I wanted to use fairly neutral colors because I don't have anyone who is turning 3 this year that I can think of!! I am not really fond of these colors (or maybe just my creations using them) so I rarely use them!! The cardstock is all from Marcella K purchased at Target. I also used buttons from A.C. Moore and the rub-ons were a rak I received this morning!!! Off to play outside in the beautiful weather of 73!!! I THINK SPRING MAY FINALLY BE ON ITS WAY!!!!

Here is another card made with "Olivia"!! She will be available mid-month! I think she is so cute and versatile!! I used a sketch from Jen's blog. I used pp from Basic Grey, flowers from Hero Arts and little pearls from my LSS.

Fantastic Friday color challenge

Korin has posted her new challenge for this friday! It is to use the colors pink, yellow and orange! I am excited because I won last week's winged creature challenge! Yippee!! I think I am having a streak of good luck! First I was runner-up in Marlene's blog candy, then Korin's and then I was asked to be a guest designer but you will have to wait to see for what!!!
Anyway here is my card and I decided to use the very cute Olivia who is a sneak peek for Sweet and Sassy designs april release!! I think she is just the cutest little owl I have ever seen!! I decided I wanted to put her on something so I put her on papertrey's branch from out on a limb. I paper pieced her belly and added some stickles. I added some paper flowers from Micheals. I colored them in with markers to get them to match my paper. I went over the edges with my glitter pen. Rub-on is from Me and My Big ideas. I don't remember where the paper is from, I had it in my scrap bag!! I hope you like her as much as I do and keep an eye out for her toward the middle of the month!!!
