Sweet 'n Sassy does CPS!!!

Good Afternoon! This week, as you may know, Sweet 'n Sassy is sponsoring the sketch over at CPS. It is a beauty so I just had to try it out. Loved the spot for two images ~ perfect for the bird on the stump!! I decided to go with Birthday Buddies. I love all the adorable images in it!! It could also be used for more than birthdays ~ anniversaries, get well cards ~ you name it! If you have a hard time with male cards this set is perfect!
The SNSS DT have also created cards with this sketch and they are all so pretty ~ should really go take a look and maybe try the sketch out yourself!!

Paper: MME
Inks: distress inks
Accessories: lace ~ Papercellar, button and twine ~ stash, flower ~ Prima

Believe it or not it took me 4 hours into the wee hours to finish this simple card!! Rachel's surgery went well but I see the worst is to come. She refuses to take the pain meds so she was waking up every 30 minutes in the night!! Today she refuses to drink because her throat is sore!! (She had her tonsils, adenoids and some tubes in her nose removed). How do you force a 4 year old to drink any ideas?????

Anyways thanks so much for stopping by ~ I hope everyone has a beautiful day!! It looks like it is going to be gorgeous here to bad I have to catch up on all the housework I missed while I was away :(

Hi try giving her ice pops or ice lollies or a small sponge soaked in water you can maybe get them on a stick at the drug store. small little sips little and often!
Love the card and rachaels op sounds horrible for her poor thing!
But kids are resiliant she'll bounce back!

Fabulous card, love the colours.
Oh poor Rachel, I guess all you can do is to encourage tiny sips to begin with. I'm sure in a few days she will feel better.

Hi Kathy, cute card, especially that little bird! Sorry to hear Rachel had to have surgery - bet you were a nervous wreck! Hope you manage to get her to drink soon (the ice pops idea sounds good or some sort of 'fun' method?! Just have to convince her it'll make her feel better - good luck!) Hope your weekend improves, hugs, Fran x

Hope Rachel feels better soon, its hard to make them understand at that that it does them good. Lollies I would say are your best bet.
