Papertake Sketch #2

This week's sketch is a pretty one from Katarina. I love all the different layers on it! Just as I was starting the process of picking out what I wanted to do for the card my mail came and in it were my new Rachelle Anne Miller stamps from Funkykits. I am so pleased with that place!! I order them and they are here in like a little over a week!! That is from across the pond! AND the shipping is only like $4-$5!! Anyway I got this one and the teddybear one. I think they are the cutest things. So I had to make a card using one of them. I wanted a girly card for the obvious reason (I have 3 of them) and thought that this stamp would make a cute invitation to a party. I decided on my favorite paper pack from Crate paper. I LOVED this pack when it came out and I bought 3 of them - this is my last one!!! I colored the image in with prisma pencils (yes-I found them!) and gamsol. I highlighted some areas with my white gel pen. The flowers are prima and the brads are American Crafts. I added stickles to the brads for a little flash! I ran two of the panels through the cuttlebug and sanded them!! The sentiment is from Papertrey as are the flourishes.

Well I am off to fill in my garden and dog holes with some dirt!! Love this beautiful weather I hope it lasts until fall!! (Wishful thinking!) Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
