Good Morning!!!!
I am so excited I got to play alittle yesterday while
I was baking a ton of cookies for Teacher
Appreciation week. So in between I got to
make a card for some challenges!
I have used an absolutely adorable new image
from Teddy Bo. This is a new friend for Bea
named Ickle Elefunt! (Love the name!!!)
Aren't they so cute!! Oh I so love them!
Anyways Kelsey has a birthday party to go to and as luck
has it ~ her friend's favorite animals are elephants so I had to use it!
I went with blues, creams and white for the challenge at the Shabby Tea Room.
I love these pretty colors together and have to use them more often.
Here is a close up of the cuddly pair:
I also played along in the Papertake Weekly challenge which is anything
goes with the option of round. And Stamp with Fun's challenge
is to use either ribbon or lace and I have used both!
Here is a detail shot! Also the flower was made with Tim Holtz's
tattered flower die.
Papers ~ Pink Paislee
Inks ~ distress inks and twinkling h20's
Accessories ~ Flowers, lace and ribbon ~ WOC,
button ~ maya road, pearls ~ Melissa Frances, Sentiment ~ Catslife Press
Here I just wanted to show you the Cake Pops that we made for Rach's
teacher. Her class mascot is an owl and I thought
these would be adorable to share with the class. They are
so easy to make too! (Except with 3 little girls wanting to help!! LOL)
(Don't mind the mess I baked 3 batches of different cookies
along with the cake pops and had to make a card!!LOL)
Well that is it for me today!! I am off to school to help out
in Kindergarten. They are having a Cinco de Mayo party!!
Hope you all have a fabulous day!
:)Kathy

Making cards is such fun, and even if I don't make as elaborate and professional ones as you do, I really enjoy creating personal cards for friends - I find it quite therapeutic!
