Belles and Whistles 'New Release' blog hop.........

Good Morning!!!!
And welcome to the bloghop!!!!
I am so excited for today!!  It is your last stop so you
have seen all the new stamps but two ~ how do you like them?
So cute huh? Well I can't wait to see what you all do with them!

As you know they will be available for purchase today!!!
YIPPEE!! You won't have to wait long to play with them!

OK if you just stumbled here on your own make sure to go back to the
Belles and Whistles blog for a proper start.  You won't want to
miss on anyones blogs as all the creations are gorgeous BUT you
also have a chance of winning a stamp on each blog and then a
random drawing for $65 for any Belles and Whistles stamps
you want!!! How fabulous is that????

Right enough blabbering here is my card! I get to showcase
this adorable image called "Fairy Dance".
(I have alot of pictures to share of my plaque)
I have decided to go with Spring as it looks like she is
jumping for joy that Spring is finally here!! (LOL)
(And the challenge at Simon Says Stamp is Spring colors or Easter!)

Here is a close-up of my image. I stamped her first and
then masked her so I could stamp the script behind her. As you can
see I added a TON of distress crackle paint to everything!

Here is a close-up of my embellies! I threw a little of everything
on here! The cheese cloth is an idea I took from my talented DT sister
Audhild.  She put some on her card the other day and I had some
laying around so it made its way on here!

A close-up of the other corner. You can see all my paint
better on the flowers here.  I have added a ton of texture!
(Which happens to be the challenge at A Spoon full of Sugar!)

Here is a more artsy picture but it also shows off the
colors better.  You can also see that I sprayed the finished
plaque with some Marshmellow glimmer mist.

Paper ~ Webster's Pages
Inks ~ distress inks, twinkling h20's
Accessories ~ Flowers, lace and shabby ribbon ~ WOC
Cheesecloth, letters ~ stash, butterflies ~ MS, leaves ~ Magnolia

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now for my second card I used Here Kitty Kitty from the SweetArt
Girls collection.  You may have remembered that FUnky Kits used
to carry these images but they retired. Well now Summer has brought
back some of the favorites! So if you missed out here is your chance!
These are the ones that made me fall in love with Elisabeth Bell's
illustrations! They are just darling!
(Sorry about the colors~ The paper looks like that but for
some reason the felt kept coming out orange! It is actually
called Melon berry and it is more peachy!)

Here is a close-up of the sweet image! I have colored everything
with distress inks and have added some dots with
my white gel pen.

Paper ~ Graphic 45
Inks ~ distress inks
Accessories ~ lace and ribbon ~ WOC, twine and button ~ stash
Felt and sentiment ~ PTI

Here is the blog hop order if you got lost!!

Kathy (your here!!)

Well I hope you liked everything you saw!!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and playing along
with the hop!!  Stay tuned on April 8th for the winners!!

Have a great day!
:)Kathy
