Today I have a project that was inspired from
some new Halloween papers and a bag of candy corn!
I have always wanted to try one of those "Boo" gifts
for the neighbors so this is what I came up with:
The idea is to make a treat and place it on your
neighbor's porch near Halloween. Then you ring
the doorbell and run! You don't want them to know
who "Boo'ed" them. So that is the reason I have
made a door hole ~ so I could hang it.
This adorable image from
was perfect and I have
paper pieced the majority of her ~ I was
not confident in my coloring with black! LOL
The trim and pumpkins were made out of
old book pages.
I went over all the lines with my glitter pen
and added Rock Candy distress paint to
the rustic stars. I added glitter to my
flower and tied it together with some
shabby crinkled ribbon.
This is what is in the inside and a cute
poem I found online especially for
this "Boo'ed" project. There were
a few poems in the search but
this was the shortest.
(If you click on the picture you
can read it easier!)
Then I found this sentiment laying around that
I have not used and thought would work perfectly!
I just used one of the punched out circles
and put it on the back of the box.
