Good Morning!!
Today is my day to post on the Belles and Whistles
blog. I usually play along with the challenge but I
didn't have the right paper!!! The challenge
for this week is Purple/Lilac!! How can I not
have any papers to play along?? I need to fix that
problem!! LOL
Anyways I got some new Melissa Frances Kitschy Kitchen
paper and wanted to make a card with Tania Baking:
Lauren, my 7 yr. old, has been helping me so much
this summer!! Everyday she wants to bake something
new or do the dishes or help with dinner!! I embrace
it as much as I can because I don't know how long
it will last!! LOL But we have baked up a storm
all summer!! So this card is for her to let
her know I appreciate her help!
Papers: Melissa Frances ~ Kitschy Kitchen
Inks: Distress inks, twinkling h20's
Accessories: Mom's little helper sticker and
Kiss the cook rub-on ~ Melissa Frances,
Ribbon ~ etsy, flower ~ Ladybug and Friends.
I have to admit that it is not my favorite card!!
I don't know if it is the papers or colors but
it is just not meshing right with me!!
Oh well I just hope Lauren likes it!! LOL
My coloring is also bothering me as the girls
were playing with my brushes and the tips
are all crazy and messy! That drives me nuts!
Well thanks so much for stopping by!!
I hope you are all having a wonderful
week so far!! We start soccer practice today
so that means too many nights at soccer
for a while!! All three are playing and they
are all on different teams. I am thinking I
will be sick of soccer after about 2 weeks! LOL
Take care,
:)Kathy

Beautiful!!!
Gorgeous card Kathy and it sits just right! Beutiful soft colours and I love the sentiment. I have little boys with curious fingers too and they often meddle with my stuff! Must seem so exciting to them :)
Have a great day, Judy xx

O, don't worry, your card looks great! Really perfect for such a nice little helper. I think the colors are nice and the image is great too. And your coloring is as always perfect. But... I can say all these things... without changing your feeling of this card. I know what you mean. Sometimes the feeling isn't there.
Have a nice day!!
Hugs Ingrid

Oh WOW!! I just love this card. Fab colouring (as always) of this gorgeous image. I have her in my 'to do' pile, which never gets attention as there are always newer stamps. Love all you pretty lilac and that fabulous flower. Not seen them in the UK. :(((((
Girl your coloring rocks even if your brushes aren't in tip top shape!! So sweet of you to give this to your daughter, it's adorable and the perfect card for her! Colors are so soft and pretty.
