Day 5 of the Belles and Whistles advent calendar....

WOW I cannot believe we are at Day 5 already! Make sure to stop by the Belles and Whistles blog and comment for a chance to win over $20 in prizes everyday!
Today is my day and I have created a cd/songbook holder for my niece. Christmas songs have a special place in my memory!! When we were little we would go to midnight mass every Christmas Eve. The drive home was a good 30 minutes so we would all sing Christmas Carols the whole way home! We would have so much fun. It was really a way to keep us awake because when we would get home we would open our presents as Santa would always come while we were at Church.

Right now on to my card/holder. I have used a portion of Belle's Carols for the front.I don't know about you but I just adore this image! It is so versatile! You can use her along or the animals alone as well like Nikki did in this post.
I added glitter everywhere again! LOL I can't get enough of the stuff this Christmas!
Here is a shot of the inside. Sorry for the wonky photo but I couldn't get good lighting for nothing!!

A few of our favorite carols were of course Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, Frosty the Snowman and Mary's Boy Child. My girls love the same ones too and we had to listen to them in the middle of summer as well!! haha

Thanks again so much for stopping by and I hope each and everyone of you are having a lovely holiday season!!

Oh my Kathy ~ You brought back memories of my past Christmases with Midnight mass...we had a guy who looked like Santa and He dressed up for the children...after mass all the kids would gather around him and he would tell them to be good and go to sleep fast that night...my child would talk about him until she went to sleep...thank your for sharing! Your card is gorgeous!
