Thanks for all you do times 2......

Today (and last night) I got two cards made. I used the same sentiment for both but they are very different looking.
The first card is for Sketch Saturday. They gave such a pretty sketch I had to try it out. These colors are so different than what I usually do but this spring I have been using brighter colors. I think in some way it may actually help to bring the spring weather our way!! (LOL) We get a few nice days here and there but I really think it is going to be cold one day and the next day it will be summer. We are going to skip Spring all together!! (LOL) Anyways I really love this image and tried to color her tights to match the paper!! You know I love the tights! The sentiment that I have used on both of these is from Catslife Press. They have some great stamps there!

Paper: Imaginisce ~ twitterpatted
Inks: Distress Inks, twinkling H2o's
Accessories: Ribbon ~ Micheals, Button ~ stash

------------------------

I have made this card for the WOJ challenge and Heather has provided another gorgeous sketch. I have also added some flowers for CCT challenge "floral fantasy" ~ just in the nick of time! It has been awhile since I have done a vintagey card so I just had to do one. Plus I picked up the new K & Co. paper pad called Life's Journey and the papers are so pretty! (I think they always are)

Paper: K & Co. ~ Life's Journey
Inks" Distress Inks and Twinkling H2O's
Accessories: Flowers ~ eBay, Retro flower punch, brads ~ Micheals, lace ~ JoAnn's, Pearls ~ Melissa Frances

Also got word on my twinkling h2o's. Apparently the ran out of some key ingredient and it will take 6 weeks for them to get out!!! If this doesn't teach me patience I don't know what will!!
Thanks for stopping by and have a great night!!!

WOW Kathy, your cards are stunning! I love how you coloured your Gorjuss girl, I think you're the first to colour her tights in multi colours which is how I'd want to do it, (when I finally get ink on her that is :D)it looks fabulous and really brings everything together with the paper! Your vintage card is true vintage style in my eyes, I love every element and the wonderful harmony you've achieved, so beautiful! Seems spring is throwing up some strange weather, it's almost been like summer here the last week or so, very enjoyable! Hugs, Chris x
