As you can see I had a try at a monochrome card. I didn't quite get there but it is close. I always see them and think they have an elegant look to them so I had to try it out. I think it is the first time my card came out the way I envisioned it before I started it!! (LOL) To get the image to pop I distressed it with a sponge. I love the effect it gives it.

I want to thank you all for your wishes for me to have a happy b-day. I woke up to a sore back but when I seen it was finally snowing out I was so happy!! The girls had off of school so we went out for hours to play! The big surprise was when we came back in the dog had eaten my b-day cake right off the table!!(LOL) It was like a big joke on me!! Man the thirties are sure rough! But I appreciate all your kindness and best wishes!!
