A Spoonful of Sugar #20...

...is a pink and green color scheme!! Which is fab because I love these colors together!! I wanted to make Kelsey a bookmark, she is getting so good at reading, so I made a card and a bookmark to put in her bookbag. I decided to make a criss-cross card to use for an envelope so the card and bookmark would stay together. It occured to me that I keep making stuff for just Kelsey!! I didn't think of it til now and I think it is because this year she goes all day long!! I feel like I don't get to spend so much time with her and I don't want her to forget me!! (LOL) Lauren only goes half the day and Rachel is still with me all day! But I guess I will have to make something for them soon! Anyway here is the bookmark. I kept it simple since I probably will have to make a new one in a couple of weeks!! She loves reading and I see it getting worn out!!

Paper: K & Co Classic K
Ink: Distressed inks, Derwent watercolor pencils
Accessories: brads ~ MM, twine ~ walmart

Last week's challenge....
I just also wanted to show the card I made for last week but never got to put it on the computer last night!! It was a beautiful sketch by Camilla. I had to try it out and it was perfect for this image!Sorry for the long post and if you made it this far thanks for sticking with me through all that!! (LOL) Oh and speaking of Camilla she has some fabulous blog candy up for grabs!! A few WOJ stamps along with a beautifully made folder from her!! Good luck!!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great hump day!! (Wednesday that is!!)

Both are gorgeous Kathy. I much prefer what you did with the papers on the sugar challenge than I did.
