Sarah Kay Challenge #12 ~ CD Cases

This week over at Sarah Kay they ask that you get creative with a CD case!! I was going to make a calendar with mine but then had the thought to make this: Well it started off because I was running behind because I spent the morning at the dentist. We had to go somewhere and the dog wouldn't come in the house SOOOOO I muttered some choice words under my breath (I know but my patience was wearing thin) and Kelsey heard it!! Well, it really wasn't that awful what I said and she was sooooo upset with me that she ran in her room and was crying!! I felt awful! (All I said was "I don't care then if you run away!! ~ he wouldn't come in for nothing and I had to leave!!!)

So then I had this idea to make her a special little case filled with pictures of the family and the dog so she would know that I really did love him!! I put it in her lunchpail and when she got off the bus she had a huge grin on her face and said "Mom I love it!!" I am glad I made things right with her......

Paper: Crate Paper
Inks: Distressed Inks
Accessories: Flower ~ Prima, ribbon ~ chatterbox, buttons ~ stash

To get the pictures to stay in place I made two sets of holes with my Crop-a-dile and ran twine through. I then made the holes in the same place on the pictures and tied a bow!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!

I almost forgot I also got this award from the very lovely and talented Camilla! She makes the most beautiful creations and I was thrilled to receive this from her!! It really is a pleasure looking at her blog!!I would like to give this award to everyone who visits my blog because all your comments really make me smile. I am making the best friends with this blogging thing and I am so glad I started one!! Thanks to all of you!!!!

EDITED TO ADD: Thanks also to Heike and Kim!! Thanks for thinking of me!!!
