I was browsing the Cornish Heritage Farms DT blogs debating if I wanted the new stampset and I found this card! I so loved it and that is how I came up with my card for the challenge. I have been seeing Claudia make such pretty cards with this paper so I dug mine out! It is from the DCWV nursery stack! (Before I started blogging these colors are really the only colors I used to make my cards!!) Now after seeing all your beautiful blogs it really has opened my eyes to using other colors!!
To get the hole in the middle of the card I put my tan mat on the inside of the card and ran it through the cuttlebug. It did not cut it but left an embossing mark so I just cut following the lines that it made. I did not have a bigger oval so I had to cut off part of the cat. That is why I stamped him again and attached him to the outside. Ribbon is from Micheal's, flower is prima and the button and brads are from my stash. The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets. I colored in my image with distress inks. Oh and the pin is Heidi Grace.
