Saturday workout challenge #4

..is faux linen. I took the plunge and tried it out and I am so glad I did. Today my husband is giving me a day "off" to do what I want without any guilt so I had time to play. I had so much fun with this technique that I think I will definitely use it again. Thanks for the challenge ladies!!
I had to make a b-day card for my SIL and wanted to use this sketch from Beatrix. I decided to use the diamond patterned stamp from Paperbag studios and stamped it with Hollyhock. But when I sanded it, it became more of a washed red so I went with these papers from Autumn leaves. The sentiment is from the $1 Studio G stamps from Micheals, flowers from Prima and rub-on from my stash. If you are anything like me and never try techniques because they seem to hard this is definitely one to try! It is super easy and makes cards look so cool.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
