Magnolia Birthday

I made this card with several challenges in mind! First the beautiful card sketch is from the My Paper World sketch #9. I love that site because she makes a different card everyday with the same sketch. It is neat to see all the different looks with the same sketch. The challenge over at the Magnolia challenge blog is called "Eye Eye its a natural feeling.." meaning you have to use eyelets and anything natural such as straw, leaves, twigs, etc.. I have added a few eyelets and waxy flax! I don't know if that is natural but I am assuming the flax part is!! My crop-a-dile did not reach one of the eyelets so I had to do it the old-school way and totally smashed it! (That is why it is not round!) Have to remember to be more gentle! (LOL) Then over at Saturday's workout challenge and at Papertake weekly the challenge is to use embossing!! (BTW - I won the random draw for a bella stamp that I don't have - Yippee) I went with this bloom dots one as I thought it matched the Basic Grey paper perfectly!! I got the circle sentiment and the main image from a swap and the sentiment A little birdie told me... is from the Olivia set from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps. Flowers are primas and the centers are frosted baubles from Stampingbella. I think that is it!!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!!
